NGC2903   ngc2903.jpg (24262 bytes)
KX260 Image
ngc2903.jpg (12008 bytes)
AP7 Image
ngc2903color.jpg (25771 bytes)
AP7 color image
The KX260 image is a composite of twenty 60sec exposures added together. The AP7 image is a composite of five 60sec exposures.

The AP7 color image consists of 60 second exposures in red and green (V) and a 90 second exposure in blue.

NGC2911/2914 Arp232 Arp232.jpg (25744 bytes) This image is a composite of twenty 60sec exposures added together. NGC2911/2912 consist of the galaxy structure in the middle of the image. NGC2914 is the small spiral galaxy down and slightly to the left of center. The tiny galaxy at the bottom of the image is UGC5093.
NGC3115 Spindle Galaxy This image is a composite of ten 60sec exposures through a clear filter added to 60sec exposures through red, green (V), and blue filters.
NGC3193 Arp316 Arp316.jpg (12747 bytes) Arp316(NGC3193) is the non-descript elliptical galaxy above and to the left of the spiral galaxy (NGC3190) in the center of the image. NGC3187 is the smaller spiral galaxy on the right. These galaxies are, respectively, Hickson44B, 44A, and 44D. Hickson 44C (NGC3185) is not pictured, lying south (below) the field of view. This is a composite image of twenty 60sec exposures added together.
NGC3226/3227 Arp94 Arp94.jpg (21997 bytes) This image is a composite of eighteen 60sec exposures added together. The larger galaxy is NGC3227.
NGC3626   This image is a composite of five 60sec exposures through a clear filter added to 60sec exposures through red, green (V), and blue filters.
NGC3628   ngc3628.jpg (23491 bytes)
AP7 Color Image
ngc3628color.jpg (22774 bytes)
This image is a composite of fifteen 60sec exposures added together.
The color image is a composite of six 90sec Red, six 90sec Green (V), and ten 90sec Blue images added together.
NGC3664 Arp5 Arp5.jpg (28293 bytes) The tiny galaxy near the bottom of the image is NGC3664A. This is a composite image of sixteen 60sec exposures added together.
NGC3786; 3788 Arp294 ngc3786.jpg (17398 bytes) NGC3788 is the galaxy with the vertical orientation. NGC3786 is oriented horizontally. The small, faint spiral galaxy below and to the right of the two larger galaxies is NGC3793.
NGC4038/4039 Antennae, Ring-Tail Galaxy ngc4038.jpg (22713 bytes)
Six 90sec exposures added together.
ngc4038(Arp244).TIF (2737739 bytes)
Image obtained at the Grasslands Observatory using an HPC-1 CCD camera.
NGC4244   ngc4244.jpg (24577 bytes) This image is a composite of five 60sec exposures added together. The exposure was shortened due to clouds.
NGC4449   This image is a composite of ten 60sec exposures through a clear filter added to 60sec exposures through red, green (V), and blue filters.
NGC4565   ngc4565.jpg (21248 bytes) ngc4565.jpg (29244 bytes)
Grasslands Observatory Image obtained with an Apogee AP7 CCD camera.
